Crooks break into popular Ayr shop in despicable overnight raid

Crooks have broken into a popular Ayr shop.An overnight raid was carried out on The Premier Stores, formerly McColl's in Hillfoot Road.The shop which sets in amongst of a row of businesses including takeaways and shops was targeted around 2.45am on Thursday morning.Cops have been spotted stationed outside the shop as they launch a break-in probe.It is understood to be the second break-in on the same shop in two weeks.A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 2.45am on Thursday, October 27, police received a report of a break in at a shop in Hillfoot Road, Ayr.
