Protect Scotland app were 10 times more likely to have Covid-19 than someone who was not. The research suggests a "large number" of people who are not infected are being asked to self isolate in the UK after being alerted by tracing apps.The Protect Scotland app was found to be more accurate at alerting positive-testing people compared to the English and Welsh equivalents.
The Scottish Government announced yesterday that eight people in Scotland had died in the last 24 hours after returning a positive test within the last 28 days.
A total of 1,525 cases were identified overnight which was a rise on the day before.Since the start of the pandemic in March last year 8,021 Scots have passed away after testing positive, while 359,442 people have.
