The singer and actress typed in the caption of Friday's post, 'Re: media/ marcmaron #wtf (fight club fracas),' referencing to her recent interview, and added that she was further explaining the situation because, 'I won’t be speaking on a podcast for another few years!' During the podcast episode, Courtney had alleged that after she had rejected Brad's idea to portray her late husband, Kurt Cobain, in a biopic, he had gotten her fired after she had claimed to have already been cast in a leading role in Fight Club.
Courtney penned to her 1.1 million followers, 'Hi. Regarding a story I told on the @marcmaron #wtf podcast. A story I was never going to tell.' However, the mother of one alleged, 'Brad pushed me a bridge too far,' she wrote, adding 'it started during the production of Fight Club.' The star wrote in her short statement that she has an understanding of how casting is like a 'game of roulette,' and expressed to her fans that, 'I am not here 22 years later b****ing about losing a part playing.
