Tonight will see the return of Manchester legends Courteeners as they take over Co-op Live for a huge homecoming set. The beloved band's tour kicked off in Glasgow on Thursday night before heading to Manchester on Friday (November 15).

Fans heading down will also be treated to support from Australian rock band DMA’S. The tour will likely feature some of the band’s biggest hits, which include Not Nineteen Forever, What Took You So Long and You Overdid It Doll, as well as newer tracks from their recently released seventh studio album, 'Pink Cactus Café'. READ MORE: Courteeners at Co-op Live Manchester - tickets, stage times, support, parking and everything you need to know The new album, released in October, has been co-produced by Liam Fray and features contributions from DMA’S, Brooke Combe, James and Ian Skelly (The Coral), Pixey, Charlie Salt (Blossoms), Ola Modupe-Ojo (Bipolar Sunshine) and Theo Hutchcraft (Hurts).

It follows a successful 12 months for the band, who originally hail from Middleton. Last year, their debut 2008 album St Jude was re-released and shot to the top of the album charts.
