A couple have warned others against getting 'turkey teeth' after their £4000 veneers left them in 'constant pain' and struggling to eat or drink.
Jade Tushingham, 32, and her partner Kelly Tushingham, 30, travelled to Antalya in Turkey in September 2022 after being lured by cheap prices.
The couple had been encouraged by friends who had had the surgery before and told them it didn't hurt. Their decision quickly turned into a 'nightmare' which they say has ruined their lives".The procedure, which involves shaving down the teeth before fitting veneers over the top has left them in agony.
Jade from Chester told the Manchester Evening News: "Even now, we're both still in constant pain. All the food at the hotel looked beautiful, but we just couldn't eat any of it."We survived on mashed potatoes and soup, even drinking was difficult as our teeth were so sensitive.
