A couple's dazzling Christmas light display is so bright RAF pilots have used it to navigate. The collection of illuminated Santas, reindeers, angels, snowmen and Christmas trees, containing 150,000 lights, is a beacon for tourists and children, as well as a marker for fighter jets.
And for the past 20 years, Jeremy and Mandy Voakes have helped raise £20,000 for the NSPCC. Jeremy, 51, a vet, admits he is probably “obsessed” by his light display.
