Traffic cops are used to hair-raising, high-octane chases - but not all incidents are the same. This was the bizarre moment police pulled over an elderly couple after they had been reported as being 'lost in Manchester'.
Greater Manchester Police says it was informed about the lost couple, who had been visiting the area from Wales. Officers searched for their car, a white Dacia Sandero, and discovered it on the M60.
Bringing the car to a stop proved to be difficult, however. In a post on X this morning (March 22), a GMP Traffic spokesperson said: "Best efforts to guide them off safely [were] difficult as driver [was] confused." When officers spoke to the couple, they were told that they had been driving around for 10 hours before the police's intervention.
