Couple found dead inside family home in Birmingham
manchestereveningnews.co.ukPolice have cordoned off a family home in Birmingham after a man and woman were found dead. Officers discovered the bodies of a woman, 21 and a man, 47, after forcing their way into the property on Swancote Road, Stechford.
The "couple" were pronounced dead at the scene just before 9.30pm on Thursday, January 27, according to a senior West Midlands Police officer.
It has also been confirmed by police that specially trained family liaison officers were supporting relatives, Birmingham Live reports.
Currently, no other details surrounding the two deaths are known. Chief Supt Mat Shaer from Birmingham East Police, said: “This is truly awful and my heart goes out to the couple’s family and friends. “It was clear that nothing could be done to save the man or woman. “No doubt this will come as a huge shock to neighbours and the local community.
