A couple who say they couldn't afford a mortgage now have a place of their own - by transforming a horsebox into a stylish home.
Architectural designer Sophie Frykfors von Hekkel and her partner Lalli Castiglione bought the 7.5 ton horsebox for £3,500 and admit it was in "very bad shape" having previously been used to transport four horses for years.
But lockdown provided the perfect opportunity to complete a full refurb, seeing the 20ft by 6ft box turned into a home complete with a double bedroom, which is accessed by a ladder.
It also comprises of a living room, kitchen, bathroom with shower, home office, and a lounge area that converts into a dining room or spare bedroom - all of which can be driven to any location they like.
