The cost-of-living crisis is becoming a very real worry for so many as the winter slowly creeps in. One of the biggest worries for many is the massive hike in energy bills with the price cap set to increase in October.

It's expected that it'll continue rising next year, with the average household's bills potentially reaching £5,000 a year. The price of everyday items is also rising rapidly too as inflation has hit over 10 per cent, compared to 2 per cent last year – and one of the biggest groups affected by this is parents.

For those with newborns and tots, there are many essentials needed and it is thought that parents are to face a shocking 60 per cent price rise for nappies and baby wipes.

Pampers product prices have risen in all of the four biggest supermarkets of Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons. The brand’s Baby-Dry Night Nappy Pants Size 6 rose in price by 60 per cent in Asda this summer, going from £5 in June to £8 in July, according to trade publication The Grocer. The publication also found that in Morrisons, New Baby Sensitive Baby Wipes rose from £11 in July, and to £15 in August causing a 36.4 per cent price increase.
