An Oldham pub has announced it will let children eat for free to ‘reverse the tide of inflation’, which has led to soaring food costs for millions of households.
The White Hart Inn at Lydgate on Stockport Road announced the news via Facebook last week. Children will now be able to eat for free from Monday to Thursday during ‘Family Hour’ from 5-6pm.
The new offer means that a family of four can dine at the Oldham pub from £29, and pizzas are available from £7.50. Taking to social media to announce the news, a post published by the team at The White Hart Inn read: “REVERSING the tide of inflation.
From 12 September onwards with Monday to Thursday Family Hour children eat FREE, a family of four can dine from as little as £29 and pizza available from £7.50.” Read more: "I'm poor.
