Yasmeen's case had been bolstered by the news that Geoff's son Tim Metcalfe had decided to testify against his abusive dad in court.
But after Geoff goads Tim during a row, Tim assaults Geoff meaning he is no longer a credible witness. Geoff bumps into Tim on the street and, furious that his son is testifying against him, tells him he knew even as a child that he would not amount to anything.
Tim loses his cool and punches Geoff in the face, leaving him with a bloody nose. Imran Habeeb visits Yasmeen and breaks the news that Paula has been signed off work, but Yasmeen refuses to delay the trial and insists
