Coronation Street star Will Mellor has told how a barrage of family tragedies left him in a dark “cloud” of dizzy spells and blurred vision.
Dad Bill died last April within two weeks of being told he had a brain tumour. Just before Christmas Will lost his Uncle Barry.
Then his Uncle George and Aunt Pat, with whom he was very close, died within days of each other – both with the same brain cancer that killed his dad.
The couple’s funeral was on the same day. Will, 45, who plays Corrie villain Harvey, said: “It was just unbelievable. “I felt everything come flooding back from what happened with Dad. “I was back in a cloud again.” The pain was unbearable...but Will’s nightmare was not quite over.
