Prince Charles paid a special homage to his late father, Prince Philip in a recent video message to celebrate the end of Ramadan for the Islamic community.The 72 year old reflected on his family's recent loss, as he admitted that he will have an “empty seat at their dinner table” this year, like so many families who have lost a loved one during the pandemic.The Duke of Cornwall shared his emotional message when he joined the Naz Legacy Foundation for a virtual Iftar – a celebratory meal served at the end of the day when breaking the fast.

In the video, he said: “The last year I know has been deeply challenging for us all, and I am only too aware of the impact of the pandemic on the Muslim community.
