Coronation Street's Sue Cleaver has revealed that she was rushed to A&E and ended up in intensive care, as well as having a hysterectomy. The former I'm A Celeb star made the revelation during her stint as a guest panelist on Loose Women on Thursday.
She was discussing her recent weight loss, as she slammed scammers who have been using her face to sell diet diet gummies. Sue told her fellow panelists that she's 'had a really bad year' following a hysterectomy in March.
Hysterectomy is the partial or total surgical removal of the uterus. She then said: "And then a few weeks ago, I ended up in A&E - I don't need to go into the details - but it was a scary, scary time. "I had surgery and I ended up in intensive care." It's not clear if the surgery was related to her hysterectomy.
Referring back to her weight loss, Sue said: "There is no diet, there are no gummies, and I am incensed that these companies prey on people's vulnerability and use our names." She went on to say that one lady had "spent £160" on the weight loss gummies that used her face, saying she "felt awful".
