Coronation Street’s Sue Cleaver today reassured fans that work is being done to make sure that we don’t run out of episodes.
She appeared on Good Morning Britain with Lorraine Kelly sporting newly dyed pink hair - a far cry from her usual look as Eileen Grimshaw.
Lorraine asked her about the danger that the ITV soap may run out of episodes if lockdown goes on too long. The soap halved its weekly output after announcing that filming was halted, but as the programme is filmed around eight weeks in advance, there will come a time when the bank of episodes will start to run dry.
