Coronation Street actress Julia Goulding, 38, has been spotted in public for the first time since giving birth to her baby daughter as she left The Baby Show in Manchester.
Julia, who plays Shona Platt in the long-running soap, was pushing her daughter in a pram while her husband Ben Silver, 38, carried their older son, four year old Franklin Wolf, on his shoulders. The new mum looked relaxed as she played on her phone with one hand and cut a casual figure in a black and white striped tee and a chic black leather jacket, with her sunglasses perched atop her head.
Julia announced the birth of her daughter, who she named Emmeline Beanie, on social media in November. She shared a sweet picture of her and husband Ben with a hand each on a pram, with the baby’s face hidden by a large heart emoji. The star captioned the snap: “On Saturday our little girl arrived.
We’re absolutely elated and Franklin is besotted with his little sister, Emmeline Beanie Silver. She’s perfect.” Julia has been a popular addition to the cast of Coronation Street since joining in 2016 and her character, Shona, has been at the centre of many dramatic storylines, including a romance with David Platt and a tragic shooting which left her with amnesia.
