Jeremy Kyle is expected to give evidence to an inquest into the death of former show guest Steve Dymond. The 63-year-old was found dead at his home in Portsmouth last year - just a week after he filmed his appearance on The Jeremy Kyle Show.
A previous hearing into his death found that the construction worker died as a result of a morphine overdose. His death reopened controversy over the show’s ethics before it was later axed after almost 14 years on the television.
The inquest into Mr Dymond’s death opened today and Coroner Jason Pegg said that Jeremy Kyle’s actions may have “caused or contributed” to his passing, reports the Mirror.
