Tom Hanks’ forthcoming Elvis Presley biopic has been put on hold indefinitely amid growing concerns over the coronavirus pandemic that has affected him and wife Rita Wilson.
The pair tested positive for COVID-19 last week in Australia but were discharged from hospital on Monday as they continue to recover.
After Tom began experiencing symptoms of the deadly bug during filming, production has now been shelved until further notice.
The film, which is also set to star Austin Butler, had been in the advanced stages of pre-production but halted when the Forrest Gump actor fell ill.
