Derek is in hospital in a "deeply critical" condition, but Kate says she won't give up hope as she thanked the NHS staff who are looking after her beloved husband.
Kate, who married Derek in 2005, took to Instagram to share a video of fireworks going off during last night's Clap For Carers celebration.
