A man struck down by coronavirus says it is "ten times stronger than the flu" and it hit him "like a hammer". Clay Bentley spent 12 days in hospital with crippling symptoms which made it impossible for him to move or catch his breath at times.
At one stage, doctors told the 59-year-old, from the US city of Rome, Georgia, they likely couldn't do anything else for him to make him better or ease his pain.
However, Mr Bentley's condition improved and he is now quarantined in his bedroom at his home to prevent the spread of potentially deadly Covid-19.
