Former West Ham star Dimitri Payet has mocked Jean-Michel Aulas after the Lyon president did a Karren Brady and called for the French season to be voided.
All matches in France's top two leagues have been suspended until further notice in a bid to combat the spread of COVID-19. And Aulas, whose Lyon side finished third last season, wants a “blank season” with no promotion and relegation and the Champions League places "allocated to the same clubs as last season".
Lyon are down in seventh place in Ligue 1 – 10 points off the Champions League places. The seven-time champions have not finished below fifth place since 1998.
