Fans were recently left both shocked and delighted to learn that the actor has reprised his role in the ITV soap. Marc was last seen on the show back in 2017 as Rob, the younger brother of Carla Connor and former fiancé of Tracy Barlow, from behind bars following the 2014 murder of Tina McIntyre.
But it's been revealed that Carla's nephew Bobby Crawford will bring his dad back into his and Carla's lives in upcoming scenes as it was revealed that Carla needs a kidney transplant.
Speaking about getting the call about Rob's return, Marc said: "I was pleasantly surprised, it's always a welcome call. And it just so happens that it was good timing from my side of things and I liked the idea of the storyline.
