Former Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis has given birth to her second child as her partner confirmed it had been a 'traumatic experience'.

The actress announced that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Joe McKalroy back in August. Stephanie, who recently played Courtney Vance in the ITV soap, and Joe met during a group therapy session in 2021.

They later confirmed they were expecting a baby boy – a little brother to Caben, who is Stephanie’s son from a previous relationship.

Now, Joe has confirmed their son's arrival and confirmed his name was a special tribute to someone missing in his life. Alongside the first pictures of their baby boy and pictures of the new arrival with his older brother, Joe wrote on Instagram: "Welcome to the world my beautiful baby boy Samuel McKalroy," he penned. "Named after your uncle the one and only who will always weigh heavy on my heart I wish so much that he could’ve met you and cherished you as much as I do," Joe went on, revealing the sweet meaning behind the name the couple have chosen.
