Coronation Street star Sair Khan has shared an adorable 'first' with her baby son after sharing a throwback snap from her years on the cobbles that will have reminded fans of a forgotten romance.

Family first and fans of the actress, who is famed for playing Alya Nazir in the ITV soap, may be aware that she welcomed her first child into the world last year with her partner Nathan Chilton.

Sair kept much of her pregnancy out of the spotlight and as her exit scenes aired on-screen, the new mum confirmed her son's arrival in May.

She said at the time: "He’s here! ...Our little boy is just marvellous. Very serious and curious about the world. He’s super strong and so resilient for joining me on the absolute rollercoaster that was our 22 hours of labour." The soap star has since shared little glimpses into her life as a mum-of-one and in one of her latest posts, she shared photos from her and Nathan's first family holiday with their little one.
