Coronation Street's Mollie Gallagher has bravely shared her ADHD diagnosis with her followers, expressing relief and happiness.
On her Instagram, Mollie disclosed that she had suspected the condition "for years" and now feels "finally happy" as her life experiences are beginning to "make sense now." She reposted a segment from the ADHD Chatter Podcast featuring Kat Brown, where the journalist talks about the behavioural disorder.
Alongside the video, Mollie commented: "I've just recently been diagnosed after knowing for years and I'm just finally happy that everything makes sense now." ADHD symptoms can be subtle in adults, leading to underdiagnosis.
The NHS outlines typical signs such as hyperactivity, impulsiveness, and trouble with concentration or organising tasks. Mollie joins a list of celebrities who have opened up about their ADHD, including Sam Thompson from Made In Chelsea, Loose Women panellist Nadia Sawalha, and presenter Emma Watson.
