Georgia played Katy from 2010 to 2015 before leaving the show. Her character moved to Portugal with her son Joseph Brown (now portrayed by William Flanagan).
In a shocking twist, it was later revealed that Katy had died off-screen in a car crash.The news was delivered to Katy's sister Izzy Armstrong (Cherylee Houston) via a phone call in 2017.
After her departure from Corrie, Georgia, 33, took part in Strictly Come Dancing where she was partnered with professional dancer Giovanni Pernice.They made it to the final alongside EastEnders' Kellie Bright and her dance partner Kevin Clifton.
