Coronation Street star Sair Khan has sweetly declared her love for castmate Channique Sterling-Brown after she shared a new post to social media.

The actress is currently enjoying her maternity leave after welcoming her first child into the world earlier this year. While she may be out of action as Alya Nazir on the cobbles, as she takes on her biggest role to date as a parent alongside partner Nathan Chilton, she is still fiercely supportive of her ITV soap pals, including Dee-Dee Bailey star Channique.

Over the weekend, Channique took to Instagram with a few snaps having had a busy 24 hours attending Corrie's 'Summer Sizzler' cast party at Victoria Warehouse on Friday night (July 12) before hitting the red carpet on Saturday night (July 14) as the Radio Times Soap Awards landed at Manchester's historic Midland Hotel.
