Coronation Street star 'can't cope' as fans fear for Roy after sinister clue

One of Coronation Street's favourite stars has said they 'can't cope' as they watched Roy Cropper come into danger amid being under suspicion for Lauren Bolton's disappearance.

The beloved cafe owner is the prime suspect in the case which has recently turned into a murder investigation. The teen, played by Cait Fitton, hasn't been seen since February 23 as she seemingly abruptly left the cobbles after mentioning a possible exit to Roy Cropper when he sacked her from the café for stealing from customer Bethany Platt's bag.

Later, Lauren's love interest Bobby found her flat unlocked, with Lauren nowhere to be seen and has been doing his own investigation into her disappearance after he filed a report with the police amid concern it could be someone following her O-Vidz account or something to do with the bruises Bobby discovered during an intimate moment between the pair. With DS Swain now investigating, in dramatic scenes during Friday night's (March 15) trip to the cobbles, café owner Roy was visited by Suki from the Weatherfield Gazette showed up to record another appeal.
