In upcoming scenes on the ITV soap, viewers will once again see Sarah Barlow back in the middle of a battle for her affections as Damon Hay returns to the street - just as she's making progress in her fractured relationship with her estranged husband Adam Barlow.
It comes after Adam made sure Damon had to disappear from the street after discovering his affair with his wife. But as a New Year dawn, Damon is back and is quick to try and get his revenge plan underway.
And it appears his feelings haven't changed for Sarah when he does come back to Weatherfield.
