ok.co.ukCoronation Street's Luca Toolan, who plays Mason Radcliffe, has left fans scratching their heads after announcing he's become a 'young dad'.The actor recently returned to the cobbles following his character's release from a Young Offenders facility.The ITV soap's audience was left heartbroken as they watched Liam Connor, played by Charlie Wrenshall, fall victim to a brutal bullying campaign led by Weatherfield High's resident bully and his gang - which shockingly included Liam's friend Dylan Wilson.
It was during one of these terrifying bullying incidents that Mason brandished a knife at the scared teenager.The storyline took an even darker turn when it was revealed that Liam was considering ending his own life due to the relentless bullying, leaving his distraught mum, Maria Windass, played by Samia Longchambon, keeping a close eye on her son, even going as far as installing a camera in their house.
Mason eventually faced justice for carrying a knife, not for the first time, after both Liam and Dylan courageously testified in court.
However, Mason made a comeback to Weatherfield after his release and was swiftly taken under the wing of Stu Carpenter, despite resistance from Sean Tully, Maria and Gary Windass.
