Coronation Street's Maria star says it's been 'overwhelming' as she's seen with Liam actor

The pair, who play mother and son Maria Windass and Liam Connor in the ITV soap, have been at the forefront of the show's heartbreaking bullying storyline.
Last week, Corrie viewers saw Liam reach breaking point as his bullying hell became almost too much to bear. For months viewers have watched Liam be cruelly taunted both in person and online by Weatherfield High bully Mason Radcliffe and his gang of mates - including Dylan Wilson.
Liam is now seeking professional help after Maria Windass and his step-dad Gary Windass discovered he was contemplating taking his own life as he hit rock bottom amid his bullying hell.
