Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has been flooded with messages after offering an update on her 'son'. The actress was paying tribute to her ITV soap co-star Charlie Wrenshall as he celebrated his 15th birthday.
Samia, known for playing Maria Windass in the ITV soap and Liam Connor star Charlie have recently been praised for a string of hard-hitting scenes as the teen faced months of being bullied - both in person and online - by fellow Weatherfield High student Mason Radcliffe and his gang of mates - including Dylan Wilson.
But recently, Corrie viewers saw Liam reach breaking point as his bullying hell became almost too much to bear. Liam is now seeking professional help after Maria Windass and his step-dad Gary Windass discovered he was contemplating taking his own life as he hit rock bottom amid his bullying hell. Taking to Instagram, the soap star, 41, shared sweet pictures of the pair. She started with a new snap that showed Charlie almost towering over his soap mum as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders.
