Former Coronation Street star Kimberly Hart-Simpson has been applauded by her former co-stars and fans as she shared some great news about her work.
The actress is probably best known for playing Nicky Wheatley in the ITV soap. But away from appearing on-screen, Kimberly is actually a keen volunteer, a businesswoman and a dab hand at upcycling clothes.
The 35-year-old, who first appeared on the Corrie cobbles in June 2020 when sex worker Nicky struck up a friendship with school teacher Daniel Osbourne, set up Hart-Work in 2018.
All the items from her sustainable brand are handmade by the former soap star herself and previously, speaking to the Manchester Evening News and other press, Kimberly said it was buying the cheapest sewing machine she could find, which she 'put on an Argos card because I couldn’t afford it outright', that she credits to saving her mental health.
