Coronation Street's Ken Barlow 'dead' as horrified Tracy finds his 'body'

mirror.co.ukCoronation Street 's Tracy Barlow was horrified when she thought she'd found dad Ken dead at his home. Cobbles legend Ken was sitting motionless in his armchair with dog Eccles on his lap when Tracy popped round.
Seeing him sat there with his eyes closed and perfectly still, Tracy was convinced he'd died. But he suddenly perked up when she started calling his name. "Dad I thought you'd pegged it," she said.
He told her: "Not yet." "Eccles and I were having a moment," he added. Ken had been sitting talking to his pet dog as he prepared to move out of No1 Coronation Street .
He's lived on the street for 60 years, but will soon be moving off the cobbles and into sheltered accommodation with his partner Claudia.
