It appears the actor, who is famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, and his new fiancée Hanni Treweek are already pressing ahead with their nuptials, which they previously revealed would be taking place next summer.
It was confirmed back in June that the actor had popped the question to his long-term girlfriend Hanni while on a safari holiday in Tanzania.
They had been regularly updating social media with the magnificent animals they had spotted on safari before moving on to Zanzibar.
