In a nasty turn, Geoff will begin to miss controlling Yasmeen - something he is unable to do while she is behind bars. Soap boss Iain MacLeod hinted that Geoff could try to help Yasmeen get off the charges - despite lying about the attack in the first place.
Speaking to Mirror TV and other news outlets last week, Iain said: "Geoff does not find it easy to, ultimately, have Yasmeen outside of this sphere of influence and that becomes quite significant as the legal proceedings unfold." He also confirmed that Geoff would not be rehabilitated further down the line as doing so would "send the wrong message".
