The actress, who played Faye Windass in the ITV soap, underwent a hair change after leaving the show after more than 12 years.
Back in April, Ellie, from Bury, looked a world away from the troubles on the famous street as she smiled serenely with a fresh new do in a picture shared on her Instagram.
Her brunette tresses have been transformed with a lighter shade for the spring and cut into glossy layers with a soft fringe.
