Coronation Street's Elle Mulvaney 'starts petition' as she opens up about 'close' co-star

Coronation Street star Elle Mulvaney has started a 'petition' for her and the co-star she's closest to to get more scenes together as she opened up about her life on the cobbles.

The actress is famed for playing Amy Barlow and has grown up in front of viewers' eyes having joined the ITV soap in 2010. She was the eighth child actor to take on the role.

Elle followed on from Holly Bowyer, Rebecca Pike, Louisa Morris, Rachel and Sarah Corker, Madison Hampson and Amber Chadwick and joined the iconic show when she was just 10 years old as the daughter of Tracy Barlow and Steve McDonald. Now, the soap star has been answering some of her fans' burning questions in an Instagram Q&A. One of the first she answered asked: "Who in the Corrie cast are you closest to?" to which Elle shared a picture of herself and Summer Spellman co-star Harriet Bibby on a night out together.
