Coronation Street star Daniel Brocklebank has been flooded with messages after sharing a sweet but emotional update. The actor was recently reunited with his former co-star Pete Ash as the pair continue their work for the Motor Neurone Disease community.
As viewers of the ITV soap know, the actors, famed for playing Billy Mayhew and Paul Foreman in the long-running show, were part of the soap's hard-hitting health storyline that saw Paul sadly die 17 months after receiving an MND diagnosis.
With the help of the MND Association, the soap portrayed the deterioration of Paul's health and eventual death, as well as the effect the disease had on his family and friends. The pair called for an ambulance and Paul was rushed to the hospital where Bernie, Summer and Paul's sister Gemma Winter-Brown were soon told by doctors there was nothing more they could do and they headed in to say their emotional goodbyes to Paul.
