The widow of The Wanted star Tom Parker, who recently shared a heartwarming video of her reuniting with her kids and "staying strong", was a special guest for the finale of the ITV show on Friday night.Tom died aged 33 on 30 March after battling an inoperable brain tumour he was diagnosed with in 2020, leaving behind Kelsey, 32, and their two young children, Aurelia Rose, two and Bodhi, one.

After a gruelling three months of training, new ITV show The Games saw 12 celebrities take on a series of Olympic-style challenges. From Monday (May 9) through to Friday (May 13) famous faces such as former Corrie star Ryan Thomas, The Wanted's Max George and reality star Olivia Attwood battled it out in front of a live audience for gold, silver and bronze medals.

ITV launched its brand new show The Games earlier this week. It saw a bunch of celebrities put through their paces while competing in a series of Olympic-style games.

ITV show came to a conclusion tonight after five nights of exciting sporting events, with the 12 celebrities taking on a string of events including Women's and Men's Speed Climbing, Women's Weightlifting and both the Men and Women's 100m race in their final fight for the crown. As the show wrapped this evening, Love Island star Wes bagged the top prize for the men whilst singer and songwriter Chelcee found herself at the top of the leaderboard for the women.

Celebrities such as former Love Islander Olivia Attwood, Coronation Street’s Ryan Thomas and Paddy McGuinness’ wife Christine McGuinness have all taken part in the games.

The Games star Colson Smith has admitted he was in "so much pain" due to an injury he sustained during a challenge.The 23 year old, who plays Craig Tinker in the long-running soap Coronation Street, took part in the pre-recorded men's 110m hurdles for the Holly Willoughby and Freddie Flintoff-fronted show last night. Unfortunately, the soap actor, who only learnt to swim five weeks ago, came in last place, but he has now explained that it was because he hurt his thumb just as the race started. Speaking on the Sofa Cinema Club podcast, Colson said: "On the hurdles, the floor was soaking wet.Take your marks, set, I've gone up for the set, and my thumb has just gone like that [slipped] and then it was 'go'." He continued: "On the hurdles, I was laughing my head off because of the amount of pain I was in.

It was the penultimate episode on Thursday night and the stakes were getting high among the celebrities taking part in The Games. And after a row between two of the contestants earlier in the week, there was more controversy as the 12 famous faces took to the velodrome.

She was unable to complete the rest of the event and was disqualified as it would have been too dangerous to reintroduce her to the track as the other women were riding. It came after earlier during training viewers saw how Love Island star Olivia Attwood fell after crashing into the back of Phoenix Gulzer-Brown's bike in an accident that worsened her injured shoulder.
