Coronation Street's Billy and Summer stars exchange cute messages as they pose for set selfie with co-star response

Dan, who plays Billy Mayhew in the ITV soap, took to Instagram with the snap of himself and his Summer Spellman co-star. It appeared to show the soap stars on the Salford-based set grabbing a quick photo between filming as Dan was dressed in Billy's usual shirt and dog collar combo while Harriet was sporting Summer's bright pink and yellow jumper under a pastel pink blazer.
Bother were beaming for the camera and proved they are just as close off-screen as they are on. "As TV daughters go, this one is pretty bloody awesome," Dan typed alongside the post to his 144,000 followers. And Harriet was quick to respond to her on-screen guardian as she typed in the comments section: "You’re the best TV dad a girl could ask for!" alongside a red love heart.
