Coronation Street stars Daniel Brocklebank and Peter Ash have come together with a plea to fans as viewers saw their time on-screen together come to an emotional end.
There were heart-wrenching scenes in the ITV soap earlier this week as 17 months after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease Paul Foreman, played by Peter, tragically died.
Billy, played by Danie, was unaware that his husband was slipping away after a drunken night out led to him losing his phone and going on a mission to find it - and the memories contained in it - when his husband's health took a turn for the worse. While Billy was still out desperately looking for his lost phone with the help of David Platt, Paul was rushed to the hospital where Bernie, Summer and Paul's sister Gemma Winter-Brown were soon told by doctors there was nothing more they could do and they headed in to say their emotional goodbyes to Paul.
