Kirk Sutherland is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera, Coronation Street. The character first appeared on-screen during the episode airing on 22 May 2000, played by an uncredited actor and originally referred to as Mark. From October onwards, he is played by Andrew Whyment.

The actor, who plays Kirk Sutherland on the soap, is in self-isolation with his wife Nicola Willis and two kids - daughter Hollie and son Thomas.
The soap star generously gave what appeared to be his wife permission to shave his hair on Monday - in a now-deleted video. Andy was overdue a haircut amid the coronavirus pandemic, so settled for a trim in the family kitchen.
He filmed the whole thing for Instagram before it had expired, and labelled her a "clown" at first for mistakenly missing a patch of hair.
