Coronation Street's Alina Pop star Ruxandra Porojnicu confirms soap exit after two years

Coronation Street star Ruxandra Porojnicu has confirmed her exit from the ITV soap.The actress, 28, joined the cobbles in 2019 as Alina Pop and her character has been part of several dramatic storylines over the past two years.

During Wednesday's episode, Alina decided to leave Weatherfield after discovering that Tyrone Dobbs had lied to her and even kissed his ex Fiz Stape.

After discovering that she was pregnant, Tyrone quickly rushed after Alina where he was able to talk to her before she departed the cobbles in a taxi.
