Coronation Street icon Charlie Lawson has opened up about his wild party days with none other than glamour model Katie Price.

In his tell-all memoir, 'That's Life, So It Is', the actor who's best known for playing Jim McDonald on the cobbles discusses his heavy drinking and drug use, confessing that he often consumed over a bottle of whiskey nightly alongside cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, LSD, speed, and cannabis.

Reflecting on his bond with Katie, he writes: "I had always got on well with her, although we had more often than not been three sheets to the wind, at 3am." He also shared a tender thought about Katie saying "I have always had a soft spot for Pricey.

I've always felt that she has been let down by friends and boyfriends alike." At 65, Charlie looks back at how he was introduced to "most drugs" during his early acting days when they were rampant.
