Coronation Street legend making surprise return to the soap
ok.co.ukShe was last seen jetting off to Spain to reunite with her lover Tommy Orpington, but Tracy Barlow is now on her way back to Coronation Street.The soap icon has been away from Weatherfield for a few months after deciding to end her marriage to husband Steve McDonald and pursue a life with Weatherfield County footballer Tommy following an affair.
Tracy, played by Kate Ford, made a brief return to the cobbles over the summer to see her daughter Amy. She expressed her disappointed at feeling neglected by Tommy over his new job at the time, but the pair soon settled their differences and she headed back to Spain to be with him.
However, Tracy makes a shock return to Coronation Street in upcoming episodes. Her father Ken arrives back from his holiday to Porto with Cassie Plummer and things soon take a turn.
Ken tells his family he can no longer afford to keep employing Cassie as his carer, leaving his loved ones relieved. Ken later lets Cassie go and thanks her for all of her help over recent months.
