Coronation Street legend Jack P Shepherd’s son lands major acting role in rival soap
ok.co.ukCoronation Street's Jack P Shepherd is brimming with pride as his son Reuben follows in his footsteps and takes a leap into the acting world.The 10 year old has landed a role in the rival soap, Hollyoaks and is set to play Curtis, the son of Grace Black.The youngster has already been spotted filming in Liverpool and is set to break into the soap world at a similar age to his dad, who started playing the role of David Platt in Corrie when he was just 12 years old.
Reuben's debut on the Channel 4 soap is expected to air from 30 September. Speaking of the news, a source told The Mirror: "Reuben is a chip off the old block.
He’s already impressing on set and his talent is shining through. He’s got a bright future ahead of him." OK! has contacted Reuben's representatives for comment.
Jack and his former partner Lauren Shippey co-parent their two children, Reuben and daughter Nyla.Though their romantic relationship ended in 2017, they collaboratively manage the 13 Performing Arts School, where Reuben has honed his talents, reports the Daily Star.
