Coronation Street fans have been loving the storyline following Sam Blakeman's (Jude Riordan) chess obsession. During Wednesday night's episode (6 April), viewers got to watch the story progress as Sam took his place opposite his opponent in the much-anticipated chess tournament.
Sam came face to face with Oscar, who Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) labelled 'a bit intense,' in the hour-long episode that saw the young chess fanatic battle for a place in the final without mentor Roy Cooper (David Neilson) by his side.
Although fans pointed out that he looked just like Max Turner (Harry McDermott), they might not have realised that the actor who played Oscar is actually Jude's brother, Zach.
