Coronation Street fans have threatened to 'stop watching' as they share their outcry at the potential demise of the Rovers Return.
It was only last week that viewers of the ITV soap discovered the beloved pub is struggling. Landlady Jenny Connor was heard confiding in love interest Owen Longford that the Rovers has been struggling financially.
When Owen suggested she should sell up, Jenny was left annoyed and made it clear that’s not an option. Overhearing her predicament, Stephen Reid suggested that rather than increasing prices, she should reduce portion sizes.
However, she was quickly caught out by Ed Bailey and Gary Windass and the locals also didn't take too kindly to the prices being increased.
